#MAPLE2021 is an annual policy dialogue convened by the @_AfricaUnion that brings together technical experts & country-level policy practitioners to discuss important agricultural policy topics, share learning & generate actions that can drive the Malabo Agenda. #MAPLE2021
The overall approach to facilitating the #MAPLE2021 is to use open participatory methodology that draws from the participants knowledge and inspires inclusive ownership of the results.
The declaration identifies specific goals & targets to be achieved within a period of 10 years. The targets include ending hunger, tripling intra-African trade in agricultural goods and services, enhancing resilience of livelihoods and production systems & and ensuring that agriculture contributes significantly to poverty reduction.
